Penton Online Continuing Education Portal

Welcome to Penton Ag Media's Continuing Education (CE) portal. This website/portal contains more than 20 continuing education/re-certification courses for licensed agricultural professionals: PCAs, Qualified Applicators, Private Applicators, County Permit Holders and Aerial Applicators. They are accredited by departments of agriculture in over 20 states and by the American Society of Agronomy for Certified Crop Advisers (CCA). Courses are accredited for various amounts of CE units/hours, depending on the state agency.  Each course lists all of its state accreditations.

Since 2004, Penton Media has provided free online courses to licensed agricultural professionals through the generous sponsorship of major agricultural suppliers. These will continue to be offered.

However, several courses are no longer sponsored and to continue offering them, a fee will be charged for a few of the courses. This fee will be $50 per course. After you successfully complete one of these courses, you will be asked to pay with a credit card. If you do not pass or you do not need credit, you are not required to pay.  The courses are listed separately on this portal under “Free” and “Paid” headings.

If you have not accessed these courses before, you need to create a unique user log-in. Click the Register tab to create your personal log-in. Please note that an email address may be used to create only one account. Once logged into the portal, click on Courses to browse the list of courses/topics available.

If you have already created a Penton Ag log-in, enter it and see what new courses are available. New courses are added often.
