Weed Resistance Management in Cotton
This course has been accredited for continuing education hours for licensed applicators in several U.S. Cotton Belt states except California and Arizona.
This online CEU course on weed resistance management (WRM) in cotton is specifically geared toward U. S. Cotton Belt states. Its purpose is to give you an overview of key practices that can help avoid or delay selecting for herbicide-resistant weeds while managing weeds in the field. The course begins with a review of weed types and herbicide modes of action, followed by what resistance is and factors that can influence the selection for resistance in weeds, and concludes with methods for potentially delaying its occurrence or dealing with it if it has become a problem in both conventional and glyphosate-tolerant cotton (Roundup Ready® and Roundup Ready Flex®).
